Product Description
The ZPM3 series molded case circuit breakers are designed for medium and low-voltage main and branch circuits in industrial and commercial power distribution systems. Featuring a fiberglass-reinforced unsaturated polyester molded housing, they offer superior dielectric performance and mechanical strength. The contact system utilizes a double-break structure paired with arc quenching grids to effectively limit arc energy and reduce arcing time during short-circuit interruption.
The trip unit offers both thermal-magnetic and electronic solutions. The thermal-magnetic design features a simple structure and controllable cost, making it ideal for standard distribution circuits with stable load characteristics. The electronic trip unit allows independent settings for long-time delay, short-time delay, and instantaneous protection, suiting graded protection systems that require selective coordination. This enables precise cascading with upstream circuit breakers to minimize the scope of power outages during faults.
The product can be equipped with auxiliary contacts, alarm contacts, a shunt trip unit, and an undervoltage trip unit as needed. It also supports integration with electric operating mechanisms for remote on/off control. Each unit undergoes dielectric performance, operational characteristics, and temperature rise testing before shipment. Test data is archived by batch to support project acceptance and future traceability.
Use Cases
- Low-voltage main and branch circuits in industrial factory buildings
- Commercial Building Distribution Room Outgoing Circuit Protection
- Feeder units in switchgear assemblies
- AC-side protection for new energy power stations
